That why you take a firearms safety course. So you can be trained to use them. I'm sorry, but I'd rather rely on my gun if someone breaks into my house than the cops that are about 25 minutes away.

I think only chefs should be allowed to use stoves and knives because they're trained to use them, since some idiots burn and cut themselves. And only professional drivers should be allowed to have cars since they're trained to use them and some idiots crash them. I mean, it's not like professionals ever misuse guns, knives, stoves, or cars. No no no. They're always responsible and never make silly mistakes that get themselves or others hurt or killed. Hopefully this taught you that guns aren't toys that are there to entertain you when you're looking for something to do on your birthday. They are a weapon and a tool. Don't use them unless you have a reason to. Silly Americans with their "guns are fun" mentality.

I see the logic you're trying to implement in your comment, but I'm afraid if everyone in this country relied on the police to protect them it would be a DISASTER. If someone is breaking into your home and they're armed. I'm not waiting 10 to 15 minutes for the police to get there no **** that. I'm grabbing my glock and either scare them away or defend myself most likely.
