Should have kept them
you should have just put up a note in your college saying 'for secondhand textbooks of the following classes ...' contact me. then you can decide the price yourself. works for me every year.
3 dollars fifty is an insult. Why did you accept such a pathetically low offer? One book probably wasn't worth that low an amount, let alone all of them.
Wow! You're dumb. here's what you do: buy used on craigslist or ebay, sell on craigslist for about the same price you bought it for. if they come out with a newer edition, look for how much they are being sold online. I don't like to rent because it costs about the same as buying used in most cases.
If you rent, you will get no money back. If you buy used, you'll get most of your money back. Don't settle for so little. Learn to say "no".
should have sold them to new students
This happened to me last semester, except I only got 1.50 back because most of them were "university editions" and they were not buying them back -_-.
You're an idiot. Instead of finding someone who would be happy to buy those books from you for half the price you paid, you sell them for 3.50$ to a book store that is going to sell them for the amount you would have received selling to another student. I can't believe how irritated I am by your stupidity.
I remember when I went to do my master in the US, I almost fainted at the price of books, being second-hand or new. It's a shame college education is so horrendously expensive in this country. Education is a right, not a priviledge!

You should have asked to clarify whether she said "$350" or "3.50".
This is why you always buy textbooks secondhand... I learned that the hard way.
