My friend fell off a top bunk when he was little. Still has a huge scar to this day from the operation to fix his elbow. Hope you didn't hurt yourself that badly!

I did this once at my friends place and the bed had safety bars. The floor was wood. I woke up with pains everywhere. I still don't know how I fell off.
