I grew up in a bunk bed in a room with tile floors...its not so bad really so long as you dont go down head first. Typically a bit of blanket will fall with you.

I give myself a minute or two to actually wake up and get out of bed. My bed isn't high off the floor but still, I'd hate falling and bashing my head on my nightstand or something like that. And tile floors in a bedroom would suck.. I don't understand why it's so hard for people to believe others have tiled bedroom floors. FYL, though.

hahaha...that happened to my aunt ..she was sleeping over sooo she stayed in the top bunk bed and i guess she forgot ..cus she fell and made whole in the wall..lol

that's the sole reason I never slept on top when I had a bunk bed with my brother.

my moms house had tiled on all rooms and now my bedroom has tiled floors I can't have carpet bcuz of my allergies so I know that falling of the bed even from mine that's like 2.5 ft high really hurts
