Today, I woke up early and made my boyfriend french toast. When he woke up, he yelled at me because it was his dish day and I was creating more dishes for him to do. He made me do the dishes. FML

Get a new boyfriend. This one is definitely a failure.

On the other hand, u could have just told him that you'll do those plates and he'll do the ones from yesterday or so.

Your boyfriend sounds really childish... it was only washing dishes. When you're married there are much more important issues than who will wash the 5 extra plates. Better tell him to grow up soon. FYL.

Well, I have to agree with Sdras. I think all the guys that posted here (and yes, I'm a guy too) are just idiots. She does something nice, be happy she did it! And if you realy don't wanna do the dishes alone, just ask it!! Lately it seems there is a serious problem with just asking something!!! If my gf does something like that for me, I even SUGGEST that I do the dishes. Even if its not my turn to do them. But that's probably just me... And girl, if that guy MAKES you do the dishes, then he's a total ass, dump him!

break some dishes against his head, that way there's less dishes for him to wash

Girls love guys who are like that... Because then they are "bad" and challenging...true story

wow, i do dishes every day. SUCK IT UP PRINCESSS damn.

You know. Very enlightening experience for you. Aren't you a female? Isn't your job to do the dishes anyway? Yes? So kitchen, nao, kthx.

Everyone needs to just stop with women are supposed to be in the kitchen, if that is so then all the men need to be in the Army or the National Guard or the Navy. It works both way boys. Back to the problem at hand. First congrats on doing something nice for your boyfriend, most nice things like that are done at spur of the moment. But your boyfriend needs to stop being a whiny bitch and thank you. He shouldnt mind doing a few extra dishes after you made him a warm breakfast. If it was that big of a deal then you can compromise and do the dishes together.

So what, there should only be cooking done on days when OP has to do the dishes? Your BF is a baby, and I wouldn't so much as get him a Coke from the fridge for awhile
