Well, being a hardcore gamer and tekkie in general, I would understand being shown-up by someone that wouldn't seem to be better than me (no offense). But if he REALLY liked you, I don't think he would go to that extent to 'show his dominance.' I've liked a few girls in my past, none of them being gamers. If anything, they were kind of computer-challenged. And I only appreciated them more for it.
