This makes no sense. How do you GET used to someone else sleeping in your bed without doing it the first time? By that logic, a 30 year old who's slept alone for a while is too young to be dating.

Yeah, that's pretty nonsense. I would say that you're too young to be sleeping with someone if your parents won't let them stay over, but my boyfriend is pushing 30, is at home to go back to school, we've been together 8 years, and we still aren't allowed to sleep on the same FLOOR at his parents' house. If I stay I get relegated to the basement. My parents were cool with it when I turned 18. Which is probably the way I'd do it. We're just polite enough not to have sex when they're home (and they're nice enough to disappear for a few hours on the weekend).
