Today, I woke up to find a parking ticket on my car. My car was in my driveway and the cop who wrote it is my ex-boyfriend. This is the third time. FML

Today, I was pulled over by the police. The cop was my ex-boyfriend. He had no legitimate reason to pull me over, so he thoroughly checked my car. He gave me a defect notice and a fine. What for? A broken door lock, on my rear passenger door. FML

Today, I was looking for a parking spot and finally found one. Trying to figure out if the spot was legal, I asked a cop that had pulled up. He said it was fine. I came back 3 hours later to a parking ticket. FML

Today, I got pulled over for having an expired registration. I also found out my husband hasn't been paying for my car insurance. Luckily, I didn't get arrested because I had my baby with me. They towed my car and gave me 2 tickets and a court date. Oh, and the cop sent me a friend request. FML

If it blocks the sidewalk, or violates some city code, he can ticket her. Also, how does she prove the ticket was placed while she was in the driveway? He makes up an address downtown, after her work hours, and there's no way to prove she didn't park illegally. Yes, I know in fantasyland, you're innocent until proven guilty. However, in parking ticket land, you're guilty until you pay the ticket or suck the cop.

Make sure you aren't in one of the many states that has made it a crime to videotape police officers though. Your best bet is to just move to another town. Trying to report him will most likely get you arrested for something worse. Take it as a lesson learned and only date humans from here on out.
