Today, I woke up to find a parking ticket on my car. My car was in my driveway and the cop who wrote it is my ex-boyfriend. This is the third time. FML

If it hasn't been mentioned already, this could be a totally legit ticket if, for one, either end of her car is blocking the sidewalk, assuming there is one. Just sayin'.

I hope your pleading not guilty. What are the tickets for? Do you know if his cop car has a camera? If it doesn't, set up a camera on your car and record him giving you another ticket. If he does, send the police a letter that you want a copy of his car camera on each of the days that he claimed he ticketed you. When the camera shows him going into your driveway, the tickets will be dismissed and him a short time thereafter. Then, get a lawyer and sue him, the police, and the city for allowing him to do this to you.

Take pictures of your car with the timestamp on the image. Or get a video camera and bust his ass

In some cities it's illegal to park in your driveway if you're blocking the street. I don't agree with it at all! I just know because a cop has given us 3 tickets so far because of this ridiculous law.

Umm, hello! ******* walk around! That's where. I'll park my car in my driveway if I want, pedestrians can kiss my ass! I've walked around the neighborhood plenty of times and have no problem walking around someones vehicle. If they want to walk around a sidewalk without having to go into the street then they can take their ass down to a park but my car goes in the driveway not in the street. Are pedestrians going to pay for the damage of a hit & run (which has happened) when my car is on the street? No they're not, so **** them. As for handicapped taking a stroll it's still ridiculous because my step dad is a disabled veteran and still got a ticket for parking in the driveway. He can't park close to the door because a handicapped citizen could possibly walk through there? Its bullshit!
