so I have to be the voice of reason, how old is she? If she is over the age of 10 years old yes I do bring it up to your parents and inform them on the activities and what she's doing. However if she is under 10 I still say talk to your parents about it and in the nicest way possible. Bring her to your room and forced her to clean up her mess. And then very sweetly and nicely tell her if she does it again she'll have to keep on the look out cuz she'll never know when you'll get her back. I got a little bit of sibling rivalry in my life being the youngest. And I can understand her frustration and not being able to play with the phone. However that doesn't excuse her activities. This unfortunately is a sign of bad parenting in today's society. Kids that think its ok to get back at one another in the weirdest way possible. Whether that be putting something in one another's bed. Or whether it be some other cruel measure. In my case my brother used to spread vicious rumors about me around the school that we both went to. So no I'm not one for retaliation that never solves anything.

With kids you sometimes need to fight fire with fire. Make her a nice sandwich with her offerings. Little shit needs a sharp lesson. Don't let her eat it - stop her first. Just point out, retaliation can result in further retaliation. Plus she needs to learn the difference between wanting something that isn't your own, and being entitled to something.
