FYL man. A similar thing happened to me once, where some pepper residue got in my eye. Except it was a habanero pepper and it stung for about half an hour. When I bit my nails the next day, I could still taste it on my skin.
If you spooned it, did you spoon it with a spoon? Or did you spoon it with your hand? Yes, there's a difference.
i dont understand, you said you did it with a spoon but if it got on your hand ok...but your a girl, as am i and last time i checked my hand it self doesnt physically touch myself, so how does it burn but in all nice name...still confused....

so here's the thing, red pepper aren't even hot, working in the food industry you should know this, also it's standard procedure in any " fast food" area of the food industry to wear gloves, most people don't, but you are supposed too.
