Today, I worked 24 hours straight fixing my company's servers. After it was over, I breathed a huge sigh of relief and promptly fell asleep at my desk. My boss found me an hour later, refused to listen to me, and fired me for sleeping on the job. FML

Too bad you can't rewire your boss so he isn't a dick.

I'll bring down the servers again. If your efforts isn't appreciated, take it back.

Little does your boss know, you're in Anonymous and will take down their servers... *thunder* FOREVER

That sucks man I hope you get your job back or at least a better one it sounds like your a great worker plus I think that working that long straight is against the law on your company so I'd talk to your attorney general of your state.

Jrock, is your keyboard missing the shift, comma and period keys? If so, please get a new one, and if not, please use them. Your posts are painful to read.

You ought to get a job with one of the contractors handing out Obamacare. It seems you can **** up endlessly with no consequence.

Is there any video footage of you working in the last 24 hours working on the computers? Sorry for being fired OP. Something must be done about it though.

That sucks. If your hard work wasn't recognised that it's probably for the best. If you're that hard-working you'll be able to find an employer that actually listens and appreciates you.

the company's loss, no one works that hard anymore , so you're a catch and they just lost you

This happened to me, I had a deadline to make programming and pulled a 36 hour non stop to get it done, I was fired on the spot
