Today, I worked 24 hours straight fixing my company's servers. After it was over, I breathed a huge sigh of relief and promptly fell asleep at my desk. My boss found me an hour later, refused to listen to me, and fired me for sleeping on the job. FML

Too bad you can't rewire your boss so he isn't a dick.

Should have clocked out. No sleeping on company time! For all your boss knew, you could have been "napping" for hours.

Umm, I highly doubt the OP clocks in/out at their job. They work at an office from the sounds of it so chances are they are paid salary and either they show up and they do their work or they get fired when the boss drops by their desk and sees they aren't there.

I'm pretty sure you can sue him for that. Could he not tell your servers were working properly?

Too bad, his loss! Your dedication will get you a new job.

Destroy the servor before your unfair departure

I think a lawsuit is in order right about now.

**** up their servers again before you leave

bosses...what they see is what they believe... I felt sleepy during hectic work but had to fill my stomach with coffee for fear of my boss... feel sorry for you OP... BEST OF LUCK ON YOU NRW JOB..

In what way does OP deserve this? Kudos on your commitment OP and good luck - with any luck your new boss will appreciate your dedication.

I would definitely fight that. You could probably look at security footage or something to help you get your job back
