Today, I wrote a text to the guy I've had a crush on for two years. I typed "hey" and put my phone down, not ready to send it. A little while later, I heard it buzz. The reply said "Um... what?" Apparently my sister had added "I'm a shitty prostitute" to my text and sent it. FML

Well it could kind of work in your favor. "Hey" will generally just lead to a pretty boring conversation if you don't know each other that well, but what your sister did could lead to an inside joke between you- those are always great ways to start a friendship

Speaking from personal experience, I think it's better to talk to the person you like about it. Of course, it depends if you're already friends or not, but I found that usually, if you wait too long, you'll over think things, and end up screwing everything up. I'm not trying to force you into talking to him, but just don;t over think it, and you'll probably find yourself in a better position than if you waited too long. This is all subject to personal preference, and I'm just speaking from personal experience, so please don't start a whole rant about this. Just a piece of advice for you, and good luck!
