Today, I wrote in my own yearbook with different styles of handwriting so my mom would think I have friends. FML

You actualy had no one signing your yearbook? Aw that's sad

My bet is you didn't even ask anyone to sign it. Should have asked them, get a conversation going, sign their's etc. Anyway, it's sad either way, sorry OP.

The worst part is that you thought you might fool your mom. She knows no one wants to be around you -- the only reason she is is that it's the law.

Did you ask anyone to sign it? Because if you had and no one did, I suggest you take the yearbook to simebody's face..... We'll let it go just this once....

I'm so sorry, hang in there, it gets better 

go outside and make some damn friends instead of complaining on a website

I don't really know about your circumstances OP, but I used to be a shy person too. Just go up to someone and start talking and take it from there. It REALLY works, most people WANT to talk, even if it may not look like it. Good luck. :)

I did the same thing once. I was shy and unpopular, and had lots of problems with bullies that my school never did anything about, which made my shyness even worse. One year some bullies got hold of my yearbook and wrote a bunch of insulting and vulgar things in it, and I threw it away later. The next year I was terrified of having anyone sign it and I ended up writing things in different handwriting just to fool my parents, who weren't fooled. And I freely admit it was pathetic; I was miserable and a nervous wreck. Things got better and my final year I had some good friends who signed mine, and now I'm a fairly popular person with a lot of good, openhearted friends. So hang in there!

Yeh, I'm sure OP will be pleasntly suprised that they are not alone with this kind of thing. BTW, sorry to hear you were bullied. I've had no-friend patches.. but nothing in the case of bullying :(

Thank you. It's something I laugh about now, in an embarrassed way, and I'm glad those days are behind me!
