Today, ignoring the unspoken rule of not entering the bus when the driver's not inside, I went in while he was taking a break. As I stepped inside, he reached in the window and pressed the "close-door" button. It closed on my hand. Everyone at the bus stop laughed as I yelped in pain. FML

Why did he leave the door open if he didn't want anyone to enter? He should've had it closed already.

please note that it won't actually hold in court and that method only works pon stupid people.

ydi for not stealin the bus when you had the chance

Haha. Caught in the act, OP? YTDI. Perhaps some pain will remind you not to steal.

That's awful! Poor you. Of course, you shouldn't have entered this bus, but I simply cannot grasp why so many of you here actually laughed or told you you had deserved it. That's so cruel! What a bunch of bastards O_o

that's what you get when you don't follow the rules..

it takes a while for the doors to shut though. ydi for not moving your hand like a smart person would do, moron.

YDI for yelping in pain, because there is absolutely no possible way for a bus door to cause you any. The passengers were correct to laugh at you.

fake the doors open if you push them on most doors and u most be slow for that to even happen

Depends on the type of bus. They're high up on a school bus but on many public buses the windows aren't so high. I only know a few different makes of buses, but I don't think Gillig makes any buses with unreachable windows, and I know Blue Bird makes a few buses that aren't out-of-reach. I can't think of any other companies off hand, but many coach buses also have the driver on a lower platform than the passengers, and those windows are also reachable from someone standing on the ground.
