Today, in a big argument, my sister uninvited my mom to her wedding. Trying to comfort my mom, I rented Mamma Mia knowing she's wanted to see it for a while. Turns out, Mamma Mia is a mother/daughter feel-good about the daughters wedding. I had no idea, and my mom cried the whole movie. FML

wow you're sister is a bitch

Well shouldn't your mum have known what it was about if she wanted to see it?

Don't go to your sister's wedding either. That's horrible. Your mother brought your sister (and also yourself) into this world. That's just terrible. Have a spa day with mama instead (:

I though Mama Mia was all about some chick trying to find her real Dad. Seems plausible to me.

What I can't decide is: How nasty do you have to be to uninvite your own mother to your wedding? How nasty do you have to be to get uninvited to your daughter's wedding? That must've been some argument, and someone unleashed their inner bitch. Unless your sister is extremely immature and did it over something trivial. Actually either one of them could have been that immature. Who knows.

I thought the story said her Mom wanted the movie for a while so she went to go get it for her. hhmmm, if I was picking up something for someone else, would I read the box? Probably not, jackasses.

Give the girl a break. The OP was just trying to make his/her mother feel better. And since the OP knew that the mother wanted to see the movie, he/she figured it would be perfect. It's actually quite thoughtful since the OP actually listens to what the mother talks about. That's awful of your sister. She's going to regret it if she doesn't re invite your mother.

Man, my mom has been really Down about the holocaust all day. I know! I'll rent a movie to take her mind off of it. But what to get? Hmm... I've heard good things about Schindler's list!"
