Today, in math class we were learning about gravity. To demonstrate my teacher asked me to stand on the desk and then step off. Upon stepping on the desk it curved inward and cracked. Everyone was dying of laughter. Fuck gravity. FML

Hey, I've seen some lard-arsed kids sitting on desks and they've been fine. It was probably an old desk. Or, if you ARE morbidly obese, sitting at your computer complaining about it won't help.

gravity is freakin' physics, not math! what the hell is that teacher doin? lol if "gravity" pulled you down so hard the desk broke, let's hope you didnt go all the way to the centre of the earth :D

I might be wrong but even though gravity is a science thing, aren't math and science intertwined? Isn't there a lot of math involved in science and science in math? And still, in some places, like where I live, math and science are 1 combined class where you learn about both. But still don't see the reason for a fat kid to stand on a desk.

does he really need to show the class that gravity actually works? could he not just dropped a ball? you can press charges if you really want to for making you do something dangerous.

Anyway, you should have learned weight distribution before this demonstration! Teacher's fault. You would have known, then, to stand with your legs apart, on either edge of the desk.

in both my university physics and math classes we've shared topics. also in chemistry! imagine that. sciences are interrelated?!

What kind of teacher feels the need to demonstrate gravity by having someone step off a desk?!? Really?

r u sure they have a license to be a teacher? 1) learning gravity in math 2) asking a student to step on a desk (when a much easier example could have been shown)
