Just want to point out that I was pretty sure I had a last sentence that said 'turns out I lasted 5 minutes before fainting'. I am not claiming that I was in full blown panic mode for a full hour. I have a diagnosed OCD which does effect quite a large part of my life, I can't even use paper in class. The majority of my friends know I have this OCD and my best friend only brought it up as an example because she knows I don't really mind people knowing because for me as embarrassing as it is, I feel that if people know they won't make a big deal out of it and since I'm in year 12 I wasn't expecting people to over react as they did. The people who were doing it were the boys in my class who are really only in the class because they needed an extra subject to be allowed to attend the college I'm at. The teacher was trying to stop them but she was a substitute so naturally the already rowdy boys were not going to be told to stop.

Why didn't the teacher stop them? This is why the school systems are ****** up.
That's mean. I told my parter once that I struggled to eat off of a plate if it had been moved, so for the remainder of the relationship, plates were regularly spun. Don't have the problem anywhere near as much now...don't think any better of him for it though 3:<
I have OCD and I know what it's like to have that done. My boyfriend does it to me for fun.
Why the heck are you still with him. exactly?
Dump him. Why do chicks stay with these people?
Wow that's just cruel
I have OCD, too. Luckily my boyfriend doesn't mind. I don't do really annoying things. The one that probably annoys him the most would be that I have to check time on my phone every time I go to sleep. As in when he decides to talk to me after I have done it the first time, then I have to do it again and I can't sleep if I haven't done it.
Thanks a scrunch.
I hate it when unused pens are 'clicked out'. My friends think it's fun, but I don't think I actually have 'OCD'. Also, you must not be studying psychology for a long time, since panic attacks have their peak at about 10 mins.
That's just a symptom, kind of like headache is a symptom of brain cancer but that doesn't mean you have brain cancer because you have a headache.
i reqlly wish people would educate themselves on what OCD is before they start downvotong comments if thr poster above you could not carry on their day because of a clicked out pen that would be OCD. if the OP had to meticulously straighten out every single paper ball flung at her that would be OCD. for the last ******* time OCD is not a trendy label for peoples quirks and dislikes.
NOT cool. *creases paper*
If you are having panic or anxiety attacks over that, it may be time to seek treatment. Medications really do work.

Your teacher is a complete and utter douche if they knowingly allowed this to continue.
I'm hoping you aren't in a college psychology class..people need to respect that OCD isn't really something you can conquer easily on your own.
