That's kind of an asshole thing to do. You don't deserve to be sued but you did deserve a lecture.
i have seen worse stuff then someone doing "BOO!" there is a video of a guy scareing the shit out of kids with a texas chainsaw skit..and chasing them with a chainsaw (with the blades off i so hope..). Seriously it is halloween..it is men to be both fun and scary. =)
oy..i meant..well..meant not men XD silly me! (ke ke ke..)
Oh shut up and take the stick out of ur own ass!
Oh my God, she scared someone on Halloween. She must be the biggest ass in the world now... (sarcasm)
I wish people would stop putting (sarcasm) on obviously sarcastic comments. If it looks like you're being serious, then sure, disclose it so It doesn't look like you're making an excuse for a lame comment but otherwise, we'll catch it.
Wow really a lecture ? How old is op 12 ? I think op is old enough to not get a lecture. Plus it's Halloween you are supposed to get scared. It's fun
54- you'd be surprised how many people don't know I'm being sarcastic. Common sense isn't that common, and the world seems to be full of dumb people
Good job OP. that kid has to learn not to be a brat. Obviously, if the mother is threatening to sue, then she probably lets the little brat do what he wants anyway. Some parents.
obviously. I totally see how you came to that obvious conclusion
It was their fault...
Another over protective parent who happens to be sue-happy. Heaven forbid a child gets scared on Halloween. Gotta make sure kids are treated nicely by everyone otherwise you'll be sued! Seriously though, I hate it when parents put their kids on a pedestal and if anything negative happens to them, they freak the **** out.
haha. I scared one kid so bad he ran screaming all the way back to the vehicle and dived in a cowered under the seat. me and his dad had a good laugh and I gave his dad candy to give to him. OP, I would have just laughed in her face.
Unfortunately, stories like this don't really surprise me anymore. The type of parent who doesn't teach her child that repeatedly ringing the doorbell is rude and obnoxious is totally the type who looks for someone else to blame for situations that arise due to her own parenting failures.
Like if the kid gets bad grades so the parents blame the teacher.
My friend's dad used to dress up as a pile of trash bags with a pumpkin covering his head and sit right next to the candy bowl, which he left out on the porch. Then as soon as a kid was about to grab some candy he would jump up at them. This seems rather mild in comparison, and I don't think he ever got sued/threatened, lol.

How can she sue you for that? It's ******* Halloween
Hey, he got what he deserved! It was only a scare anyway.
