Today, for my birthday, my family offered to take one of my friends to the movies with me. I had to pay a random person in my class to pose as a friend of mine, so that I wouldn't look pathetic in front of my parents. She forgot my name three times. They didn't buy it. FML

Today, I drove 45 min from my college to surprise my girlfriend with roses after she got off work. She responded by taking the roses, dumping them in her back seat, and speeding off because she couldn't miss Survivor. FML

Why would someone take them? You were handing out roses to strangers in the freezing cold. People probably thought you were ****** in the head. Wouldn't want to get some sort of anthrax laced rose or something.

That's very dumb! Nobody cares for solicitors. They know that roses do poorly in freezing weather. They dont need the roses. What they really want is a hundred dollar.

They probably thought you were trying to sell them the roses. Where I live, it's not uncommon to see people on the street selling roses, especially around the holidays.
