Today, it is my boyfriend's and my one year anniversary. I bought him a Playstation 2. As soon as I gave it to him, he went straight to set it up without giving me anything. I said "What about me?" He walked over to me, gave me a kiss and said "I love it when you buy me things for no reason." FML

Today, it's the day after my birthday. My boyfriend got me nothing. Nor did he do anything for me for Valentine's Day. Whereas I got him an $85 game for his birthday, planned a surprise visit to his family so he could see them and his pets, and spent all day Valentine's Day making the house spotless, as well as cakes. FML

not only are they still being sold, new games are still being produced for them. thats why the ps3 slims lack of backwards compatibility is pretty crappy.

I don't see why a lot of people are saying it's the boyfriend's fault. They may have been going out for a year, but it's not a real anniversary. So what if you started to go out, that doesn't mean you should spend a hundred bucks on a guy you've just been dating. They're not going to remember what day they started dating, no one wants to. It's nothing special because you are not tied down.
