McDonalds are the ones that can't be trusted!
You can't eat French cuisine, but 3 meals daily of Diabetes Chow is a better choice?
did you get a Royale with Cheese? and what do they call a Whopper?
There is no Whopper in McDonalds... There is only 3 Burger King in France, and Whopper are called Whopper.
btw..did you get french fries from McDonald's ..not sure if you can count it as french cuisine...
I assume you are Kiwi from your nickname. But Kiwi or American or British, you have no reason not to try any French food. The food is amazing, especially compared to the English food that I've been eating in UK/Australia/New Zealand. I'm probably biased because I'm French myself but I am not the only one to take it for one of the best in the world. The different parts of France present very different cuisines with various ingredients, flavours and influences! As much as I love New Zealand, I will always place French food on the top (next to Italian and Indian food, I'm not that chauvinistic). It is too bad, I really pity you! I hope that you can make your family change its mind. :)) Plus a hint: why saying 'cuisine' in English if French food could not be trusted? ;)
I agree with you. French food is the best in the world, period. Probably somewhat overwhelming for a tourist though.
your dad is a special kind of stupid isn't he?
Whouah! I consider that to be an insult to french cuisine and France in general! - Our food is generally not weird (except maybe from snails, frogs and such, but french people eat those delicacy less than once a year....ans sometimes never!) and you can find a lot a dishes that are close to your national cuisine (i guess you are either american, canadian, british, irish or australian, but maybe i'm wrong). Go to a brasserie and you will surely find that you can order a cheeseburger with real bread/meat/cheese and freshly made french fries. - Our food is safe from the sanitary point of view (except from some bad fast food place like kebbab, chinese fast-food and sometimes mac donald...) -If going to restaurants everyday is to expensive for your famillly, you can always go to a real bakery to have a good sandwich with french bread that will be better in taste AND for your health. - Your father is basically judging before trying. Why did you travel hundreds (our maybe thousands) km if you live the exact same way than in your country ?
Did you order a Royale with cheese? You know, because they don't have the Metric system? Pulp Fiction? Lol
you mean because we DO have the metric system ?
Yeah, French people invented the metric system. It would be weird if we didn't have it.

I'm so sorry OP. What's stopping you from going out on your own?
McDonalds will kill you eating it like that.
