Today, it's been three months since my sister broke her car, meaning she couldn't get to work, and I've giving her money every month so she could buy food and so on. I just found out that her workplace is less than 200 metres from where she lives. FML

Today, I went to visit my aunt who lives 6 hours away from me. Her car was missing from her driveway, but she's unemployed and barely leaves the house. Turns out, she moved in with her new boyfriend and didn't tell anyone, so I had to drive 6 hours back. FML

Today, my younger sister, who lives at home and worked 1 day a week at the gym, got her unemployment card. I work at a hospital, on the frontlines, with COVID-19 patients. I don't get hazard pay. She now makes more than me in a week by sitting at home watching Netflix, while I risk my life every day to help people. FML

Wow, that sucks. At least you know that she has been taking advantage of you, so you can stop giving her money. If she's that lazy and deceitful, then she doesn't deserve help.

Your sister sucks. But her car being broken isn't any reason to just stop going to work. There are other ways to get there, even if it was too far to walk. And wouldn't it make more sense for you to help her fix her car instead of just supporting her to sit at home and do nothing?

I got a lot of questions about this FML. Did she stop going to work as soon as the car broke down? Did she trick you OP by saying she is saving money for repairs or a new car? If she is still going to work how is she getting there? Carpool? Bus? Taxi? Neither of which are too costly.
