Today, it's my 18th birthday. My parents got me a $5 gift certificate to iTunes. It came for free with the iPhone they just bought my sister for her middle school graduation. FML

Typically when one is 18 you graduate from school in the states. If you're here, you might want to see what you get for your graduation before you call foul.

sometimes i think these are made up. yeah, that really sucks if it's true but i don't know of anyone whose parents are this douche baggy, even to their least favorite child.

alright, i didnt get my first phone til 10th grade and the only reason i got it was because my dad had an extra one (he owns a buisness and gets great deals on cell phones for his employees). i had to hold it together with ductape, and i had it for a year before i was able to get a new one, the same shitty $10 phone that i have now. my 12-year-old sister, on the other hand, got her first phone in the beginning of 6th grade. it was a hundred dollar razor. since then she's gone through a blackberry and a rumor. shes in 7th grade. the reason she got the blackberry was because she lost her razor and the reson she got the rumor was because she was getting bored of the blackberry. i feel your pain :/

#36: My dad still gets all of us good presents for our birthdays...the youngest is 20, oldest 26 (I'm 23.) So nyah. (Maybe it's because we always get him something good for his birthday. ::shrugs::)
