Unfortunately with Child Development in my school you're forced to take an abstinence class as well. I went through that, and learned that condoms actually weren't all that protective. Passing this off as a scare tactic more than anything, I then befriended a 16 year old who was pregnant. She used a condom. I know this comment is kind of unnecessary, but there's so many people saying you should have used a condom, assuming OP did not. YDI for having sex at 16, but FYL for being pregnant, because that still sucks.

People, please, get of your high horses. Until we have more infomation, we can not label OP as a ****/*****. She might have been raped. She might have had sex ONCE. For all those saying that sex at fifteen makes you a ****, I say, **** you. Not everyone believes in pre-marital sex. Also, some schools refuse to teach sex-ed properly, insisting that children should be taught to be abstinant, and that it's not the school's responsibility to teach them about condoms, etc. They think that telling kids 'Don't have sex' is enough. Also, the pill can have side effects, though not everyone expiriances them. Condoms are not 100% effective, and this baby could be part of the magical 6%.

Do not litsen to others calling you a **** or a *****. They need to understand that your parents may not have encouraged you to wait untill marriage to have sex. It is your choice if you want to abort, keep, or put this child up for adoption. Whatever you choose, be sure it is the right choice

So many of you are so mean, which i find kind of pathetic. You are beating on someone who's already been hurt more than enough. OP: I'm sorry you had an unexpected pregnancy. I'm even more sorry there are so many people who find it necessary to call you names rather than offering help or advice. However you handle this, I'm sure things will get better and you'll have a great life. "being 16 and prego is kinda bad"? woooow i would go a bit beyond kinda. i would scedual a trip down the stares if my doughter came home and told me she was...or have a romantic wedding with the moon light reflecting off my shot gun/m16. shes a **** tarde. thats why if at that age u do do it use protection. as for the 14 yr old doing it thats just bad parenting. just saying on an average. ps i cant spell gramer nazis to the floor!!
