Today, it's Saturday night, and also Halloween. Instead of going out, I'm sitting at home on MSN telling everyone who asks me what I'm doing tonight that I'm 'going out in 10 minutes to a party', then when 10 minutes pass, I block them. FML

Today, I was chatting with a friend on msn. She told me a few days ago a Halloween party we had been planning was canceled because her parents said no at the last moment. Wanting to cheer her up, I went to her house to surprise her. I guess the party wasn't canceled after all. FML

Why don't you just sign off MSN? I don't get how this is a FML? In anycase, why don't you be honest? Just be like, "Man I have nothing to do." And perhaps people will be like, "Me either." And you can develop friendships there. It's not the end of the world that you didn't go to some hot party on Halloween and many people share the same fate as you do. So you should be honest. Who knows? Maybe someone will be like, "Well hey, I'm going to a cool party tonight, do you want to come along with me since you're not going anywhere?" And you'll be like, "Yeah! I can do that!" But now you'll never know cause you just told everyone a lie and you're just left to your own pity and anger.

If you must sit at home, don't sign on MSN. Read a book or watch a movie or something. Or just go out and find something to do. Oh and not an FML. I'm not going to any parties or anything tonight either. Why? I have to get up at an obnoxious hour of the morning to work tomorrow.

you're a douche. actually not because you sit at home, but because you're worried too much about what people might think about you for that. by lying to everyone, you screw your chances for a last-minute-invitation to a halloween party. Are you a sado-masochist? Feel pleasure in torturing yourself? Then just go on like that. Stay online, lie to people and be reminded by every single lie that you don't have a halloween party to go to.
