Health care workers on average are higher up on the assault and verbal abuse chart than police officers and prison workers. The nursing home isn't a refuge from that lol. Pretty soon you'll be dealing with biters, explosive diarrhea and dementia patients who ********** for shock value (as if the dementia patient part isn't bad enough.) Good luck!

I work at a nursing home and within like the first ******* week I had not only been hit, but I also watched a resident have a stroke and die. not fun.
