Today, it was supposed to be payday. Instead, it was the day I found out that, for two weeks, I have been volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, and am not actually employed by a construction company. FML

Charity case

Today, I took unpaid leave for a month to work as a temp at a charity organisation, assuming it was paid due to the great benefits mentioned. During my placement, I noticed clues it was voluntary but it didn't register. At the end, I discovered it was unpaid. I get to do voluntary work for a whole month. FML

Today, after working 12 shifts in the past 8 days at 2 jobs and thinking today was a day off, I got the call that I misread my schedule and I was in fact scheduled. Got off at 2:30 am, work again at 9 am with 9 shifts to go this week. FML

Hmm. It's pretty obvious this FML is total bullshit. There's no reason that you shouldn't have known what you were getting into (aside from maybe a mental disability). On the other hand, if you faked this FML, then quit being a dumbass and buzz off.

You should have known something was amiss when all of your co-workers were singing "Kumbaya" all day. Paid construction workers only speak in short sentences with some form of the word "****" in each one them at least once.
