Today, l was crouched on the ground in the doorway at a haunted mansion. It's part of my job here to scare the people passing by. A 12 year-old girl walked by, I grabbed her leg, and she kicked me in the face. FML

I used to work at screamfactor, and we were not allowed to touch so YDI

What kind of haunted mansion are you working on? Every time I have worked in a haunted house or the like, they have made it a point to tell us to scare people WITHOUT touching them. It avoids incidents like this one and keeps them from suing you for unwanted touches. I'm going to have to say YDI for this one because there are so many better ways to scare people.

just btw if ur working at a haunted house its illegal to touch unless each participant signs a waiver before entering. i would know. there used to be a local haunted house but one of the guys touched me and i kicked him in the gut, but i won the court case

Perhaps he shouldn't have grabbed her if it isn't allowed, but the little girl and all others that kick the employees are assholes. He is not trying to do you harm, be aware of where you are and have fun. Don't go in there if you get scared so easily and react like a little bitch.

The people who go in are told "do not touch the actors and they will not touch you" you deserved to get kicked in the face

One guy who worked there hit me in the face with a fake scyth. Like really hard.

Some places do actually allow you to touch the guests. The guests are informed and will get kicked out if they overreact and hit the workers. FYL, OP.
