It wouldn't have occurred to me to post it on FML if I were the one in those shoes.

If your daughter is pregnant do talk about the options. However to all those calling her a bad parent.. What right do you have to judge something you haven't seen or been a part off! Children sometimes mess up and yea this is a big one but instead of slandering her try some support? As for the road thing it could be in another country like the UK where we have something called travellers and they do this as a family/ community so it might not be him even driving. And if it was a boy who got a girl pregnant at 14 and just because your presuming it is the OH that is driving would all you be calling statuary rape? Doubt it. Seems like a lot of people on here have double standards

The best punishment is to let her do so and not help her when she comes back crawling IF she can.

If I were OP I'd take a hard look at the daughter's friends and the guy that got her pregnant. The daughter really has no idea what she's gotten herself into. Someone somehow convinced her that she'll be taken care of... make a point to find out why she's doing this and protect her from the people that may have other motives. She may think they care about her but it could very well be the complete opposite.
