All I feel is the urge to laugh. Not that's its humorous, just at how idiotic teens are turning out these days. I'll never understand the desire to make decisions that they know can potentially destroy their future.
I laugh too but this isn't something new. Teens have always been immature and irresponsible. The public has just become aware to the fact because "Back in the day" families would go to great lengths to hide certain precarious situations.
My only guess is that they think of the moronic acronym of YOLO.
This generation isn't special. Teenagers typically have limited cognitive ability when it comes to judgement.
