Today, my 18-year-old daughter texted me and told me that she got in a car crash. She texted, "I forgot wich way wus left lol" and then quickly added "yolo right? Lol". FML

Okay, second time I'm reading this and I just got it: "I didn't know which way was left." Pardon me for not getting that the first time around. I cant decide which is worse though, not knowing left and right, or the word YOLO!

I really hope you weren't the one that taught her to drive.

I sympathize with forgetting which way is left. That's not the stupid part, there are plenty of people who have these brain farts. But getting into an accident because of it? You should always be aware of who else is on the road! If she's still living in your house, I'd recommend taking away the car. Accidents shouldn't be taken lightly. I lost my two older sisters in a car accident when I was 16. If she brushes this off, she may never learn to drive carefully, and the next time she forgets which way is left, she may not be able to text you "yolo right?"

Tell her YCFS or SIASD, right?! (You Can't Fix Stupid), (Stupid Is As Stupid Does) & save the txt to show the officers that she need her license revoked

You raised her. YDI (Unless of course you had an odd relationship like you were in the armed forces. )

Bulldollarhit! She was texting while driving. Take away the phone.
