Oh wow a whole night how will you go on? My husband and father have been gone a year straight and I only got to talk with them maybe 3 times at the most in one year. But good luck I don't know how you'll be able to make it through the night

Courage OP, I'm sure it's just for one day and after everything will be back to normal. I've been living 7 months away from my current boyfriend and I know sometimes, you can imagine anything in these moments but don't forget it's a special occasion : Halloween is just one day in a year. Let him enjoy this day with his friends and enjoy also yours :)

I never got the idea of making someone pay for stupid things. I have gone three weeks without texting my (new) boyfriend because he is out of the country visiting family. He sends me the rare e-mail or FB message, but I have not been able to speak with him one on one. I miss him, but it would ruin the moment if he had to constantly keep me updated. He promised to spend several days with me when he gets back... but I have a life, he has a life. Op needs to not take things so personal. The adult thing is to let him have his fun, then talk the next day.

Chill out it's just one day. I get the long distance thing is hard but I'm 99.9% sure you won't suffer any ill effects from one day of no communication.
