Today, my 20-year-old son's external hard-drive stopped working. He's crying on my shoulder now, not because of the movies, porn, work, or music he probably lost, but because of the now irretrievable complete series of Digimon that he'd collected. FML

Quite truthfully, I think the only reason Digimon is succeeding, is because they're learning from Pokémon's mistakes, especially with the cartoons. Digimon cartoon artwork, plot, and morals are really detailed, and the characters...... Let's just put it this way: Pokemon- hey everyone, meet _______! (S)he has ____ pokemon! (introduction over) Digimon- This is _______! Her Digimon are ________. She comes from __________. Her favorite things are ________, etc, etc.(you learn more and more about the characters). And that, is my non-biased opinion. Because quite truthfully, I also like Pokémon better :P

Pardon my ignorance; I've no ******* clue what "digimon" is. My kids grew up with mutant ninja turtles, ghostbusters, & MTV when it showed music videos.

Yeah the new pokes really are terrible... except Accelgor. He's badass. But yeah, even the games have started to become very same-ish... MMORPG would be nice. And hacks are better than the real games most of the time.
