That's not a very nice thing to say.
give them a brake!
Better than giving them gas.
She's about 20-30 years late with this. There's not enough guys around her age to date and they're mostly dead, literally. Haha, stupid move grandma. Well, as long as she's happy I guess.
My twice widowed great-grandmother remarried in her eighties. Don't be so close-minded, Olpally.
in our society there's such a pressure of finding a new partner. it's sick, when you think about it. if OP's grandma wants to divorce bc she's not happy anymore, good for her! but all that pressure into immeadiately having to go on the hunt for a new man... smh. if she finds someone new, good! point is, she freed herself (and ex husband) from an unhappy situation.
Granny got her groove back. I wonder who she met to divorce gramps
Not necessarily anyone, she could have just not been happy.
Man, I dunno. My grandmother finally divorced my cheating, abusive grandfather when she was in her 60s and I don't blame her (though they're both gone now). He was an incredibly successful car dealer, she had no skills or retirement of her own because they'd gotten married right out of high school, and up until he died he still went back to court every single year to try to get her alimony reduced. So I couldn't judge her without knowing a lot more, but either way, dude/lady, not only do I not see how this makes your life suck, I don't see how it even AFFECTS you.
Divorce usually affects everyone in the family.
i think it's the shock of the announcement
It's upsetting but they may be happier apart OP. I guess that's the best way of dealing with it.
Well, why should two people stay together if they're not happy? No matter what age they are.
Hey, you're never too old to party! But I'm sorry about the divorce OP :(

Never too late to be happy I guess
Just because you're old doesn't mean you lose the concept of what/who makes you happy
