Today, my apartment was robbed by my landlord. Her logic? "I own the building, and therefore everything in it." That TV cost more than my rent. FML

This is mine. we did call the cops. we have to prove its our tv so now we have to find the receipt from 2 years ago. her whole family is into illegal shit. her son got arrested recently for forging the mayors signature. we intend on moving as soon as we find an available apartment.

Start stealing from her suite. When she confronts you, say it's not stolen because it's still in "her" building.

Right, that is a breach of contract. A landlord should not be able to go into your apartment without your consent.

I'm wondering how late was the op with the rent...

I smell a Judge Judy episode in the works...

Sue them op. Like no joke. That isn't logic, that's illegal.

Isn't that technically burglary, not robbery? I thought "robbery" was from a person, and "burglary" was from a place. Either way of course it's illegal and I'm glad to see the OP taking action!

That's when you beat that ass and say it was self defense because she was stealing. (:

Unless u signed something saying she could, she can't even ENTER ur apt for repairs etc without ur say so! Even if u were dumb enuf to sign something giving her free access, that still doesn't give her free access to take ur shit! Theft is theft! Call the police, get ur stuff back, file a police report & CHANGE UR LOCKS!!! Then u HAVE to be there for her to come in! People are freaking crazy!!
