That's a terrible thing to say! Do you even know what emotional trauma people go through which leads them to cut? I am personally very happy that she's stopped, and I am sure her friend will be able to help her in this situation.

You need to report your friend's cutting habits to your school counselor. Sounds like she needs some serious therapy. She may hate you for it now but when she realizes in the long run how much it helped, she will thank you.

Perhaps it is for the best -- a sign that she needs to get help dealing with the cutting. A cute guy should not be the sole reason for stopping cutting - she needs to find her own strength. Good luck to you and your friend!

The reason I stopped was because someone asked me "what will you tell your children when they see the scars?" That was my reason for stopping. I couldn't bear that thought.
