Today, my boss asked me to read through a document. I gave my feedback, saying it seemed like it had been written by an 8-year-old. Turns out it was in fact written by him. FML

There are many people in charge with limited literary skills. It's hilarious and sad at the same time.

I'm just wondering since he asked you to read it, did he really ask for feedback on it or just as an informative type of thing for you to read?

Never call the author of an unknown work a child, or liken to them one! I made the same mistake with a girl in my MBA class, resulting in her becoming my enemy and sabotaging every group work of mine.

Some people just aren't great writers or good at putting words on paper. That is what co-workers and employees are for.

Should've said..'wow who wrote this?' And then gone on after he told you
