As someone with Asperger's (and OP, please don't use 'Assburgers' PLEASE, we're still PEOPLE and there's no need to be rude to us just because our neurotype is different to yours). I can tell you that Asperger's does NOT cause those symptoms. A difficulty in understanding social interaction and stress in dealing with social situations due to a lack of natural intuition in that area, yes, and a lack of tact that arises from simply not GETTING straight off that something is rude unless someone (nicely) lets us know, definitely. But having Asperger's does NOT make you a bully or an asshole any more than the next person. Please check your ableism (and if you're referring to anyone as an 'Assburger' then yes, yes you ARE being ableist) and stop.

its a form of autism and my son has it! if he behaved in that manner I would help you get him arrested or some mental help!

As a person who has Asperger's, I think OP's coworker should be held responsible for his own behavior and actions regardless of his disability. I might sound a little harsh but the reality is that this coworker chose to work in a mainstream work environment and the expectations of the environment are to treat others with respect and clearly he can't handle that. So yes, I think the coworker ought to be fired.
