I'm sorry but you can no longer be employed here, budget cuts, lmao! -sincerely Op's boss
Your boss is either ignorant or an ass. In either case he should be told about it.
At least it wasn't lmfao
There should be a professional way to do that, even though it sucks either way. Send a pic of your dick. Then write his number on bathroom walls.
Get frisky with his wife and send him a picture, add 'lmao'.
What's up with #1? People that can't deviate between mature and immature need to shut their pie hole
Terminating someone by e-mail is unprofessional, doing it by text is downright cowardly. Adding LMAO at the end is way betond stupid and unprofessional. Show the message to employee services or human resources.
Actually, not completely right on the e-mail part. Over here, and I'm pretty sure it's like that in most of the Western world, you have to give said employee written notice. E-mail is legally considered to be written notice these days.
Sorry OP. report to HR
Wow, what a douche nozzle. I agree you should send this to your boss's supervisors so they know just how unprofessional s/he was. If you're going to lay people off, have the guts and the decency to do it in person, not with a text message ending in "lmao".

Your boss sounds very mature. Sorry op.
You should have sent a pic of your middle finger
