Today, my boss threw out the report I wrote for the board of directors. He said that if it were legal, he'd smash me in the balls with a brick for using Comic Sans. I had to do the whole thing again in another font with my coworkers snickering at me. FML

It sounded like the OP had to re-do the entire report from scratch (not just re-type it) because the boss threw away the only existing copy, hard or digital. Which really makes it even worse... who doesn't save (and back up) their important documents nowadays?

Everyone needs to calm the heck down with the Comic Sans hate. Yes, it's inappropriate for an adult business atmosphere, but telling someone you want to cause them physical harm over a stupid font is pretty ridiculous. As a graphic designer, I get it. I GET IT. But at this point, most people don't know why they hate comic sans, they just know they're supposed to. Stop being pretentious jerks, people of the world!

It's not that people hate CS, it is that we can not understand why would anyone use it fir work related things. I used it only when doing e-greetings, as that is the only acceptable way if you are adult
