Today, my boyfriend accused me of deleting my texts from my phone because I'm afraid of him finding out about another man in my life. Truth is, I don't have a life outside of him. FML

You need to GET a life outside of him. When people get into a serious relationship, they sometimes tend to alienate others. If the relationship fails, you have no one to help you pick up the pieces. You need to plan girls' nights or something without your SO.

I agree, this is what I was going to say. My mom's boyfriend says my mom is cheating all the time. True is he was cheating. It sucks. However, not always true, they could be insecure as well, may not think they are good enough for you and scared you may leave.

if both of you are so codependent, I believe this relationship will cause much more harm than good on both of you individually. OP: no boy should be your whole life, specially when he seems to be this insecure. This might sound harsh or offensive, but the best for you is to see a therapist. Trust me, it would make you a much happier person, and would do you so much better.

what you have is a codependent relationship where you focus on pleasing his needs before yours, if you can even identify your needs and wants. and he sounds like a domestic violence case waiting to happen. get help or get out. fast.
