Believe me it's just a phase >.>. But you should tell him before things gets worse. On the other hand some girls might actually like to hear that they are loved and someone wants them forever. If that's not good enough for you he can obviously can do better.

Yeah I agree. I once had an ex gf who basically asked me to tell her I loved her she wanted to hear it so bad, and then when I did, she said she couldn't handle it and we broke up. I say this as an example to OPs situation because it makes me wonder if the cant standing him is because of his words, the sex, or just something else.

Awww in a way that's pretty sweet, at least he didn't 'hit it and quit it'. That would hurt, and maybe because he is being so loving that you are not realising how lucky you are. Or maybe either way you still wouldn't be able to stand him. Think about it carefully before you have sex next time, it's not right to play with people's feelings like that.
