Today, I came home from a two-week overseas business trip. My wife was at work, but she came home for lunch. When she came in, she brushed right past me to hug and talk to her dog. When I mentioned it, she said, "But I haven't seen him all day!" FML yep. you were right. unless it was just a coincidence that they were both very alike. but i highly doubt it.
Anybody who doesn't understand the unique bond between a man and his dog has done it to themselves, I'm afraid. No sympathy for the devil.
His dog is family while you're not. Chances are their bond is stronger, anyway, given that you're only bf/gf.
Most of the comments here seem to approve the guy and his dog. But I've seen several FMLs here about a girl doing the same thing for her cat, and they're all saying how much of a crazy bitch she is. Exactly the kind of double standard that no-one gets but keep doing anyway.
There's no such thing as a 3 month deployment. Sorry, kiddo.
If he were to lock both you and his dog in a closet for an hour, guess which one of you will be happy to see him when he opens the door? This is why guys like dogs more!
HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA
I would've hugged my pets first too!
