Today, my boyfriend came home from being deployed for the past 3 months. As soon as he gets out of the car, he walks right past me and goes to hug his dog. FML

Don't be worried. Dogs demand attention, so he probably went to see the dog first so the dog wouldn't pester him for attention once he spent time saying hello to you. I always say hello to the dog first. :)

Air Force has three month deployments in some areas. Lucky people...

Sometimes Marines will deploy on an MEU or to places like Korea or Thailand for 3 months.

That explains it. I read this FML and I'm like wtf my brother was deployed for over a year. Three months is sort of weak if you ask me.

he probably knows you cheated on him. I've yet to meet the girlfriend of a soldier who didn't cheat while he was away. Hell, I've yet to meet a wife that didn't...

WTF?! I was faithful and my husband was deployed for 15 months... I hate when people generalize like this. Yea I've met unfaithful military girlfriends, fiancées and wives but I definitely know more faithful ones than cheating ones...and the ones that do cheat give all of them a bad name. And it can go both ways. My husband had more than a couple married male soldiers in his unit that cheated on their wives with female soldiers while downrange...some of them got what they deserved though, they were eventually caught and demoted.

I'm married to a soldier and he's away more than at home and I've NEVER cheated on him! We were engaged for 6 years and I also didn't cheat on him! So there you are you've met a wife that hasn't cheated!

thats so not true! my bf is in the army and i havnt cheeated. mayb u know the wrong kinda ppl!!!!! i know lots of ppl who have remained faithful!

Whilethe three of you are admirable for your loyalty, you went into a fit rather quickly. HE has yet to see a faithful Army wife. He didn't say there are none. Honestly, i've seen more unfaithful than faithful. My wife sent me pictures of her new boyfriend playing with my son.

you are obviously not in the military or are just an idiot. I'm in the marines and I know plenty of guys with girlfriends that never cheat. I also know a lot of guys that cheat on their girlfriends all the time. just cause that is what you have seen doesn't mean that's right.
