Today, I came home from a two-week overseas business trip. My wife was at work, but she came home for lunch. When she came in, she brushed right past me to hug and talk to her dog. When I mentioned it, she said, "But I haven't seen him all day!" FML

Today, after patiently waiting to see my boyfriend for a month because he was overseas, I excitedly went to the airport to finally pick him up, only for him to walk straight past me to greet his friends. He didn't even bring back anything for me, but brought back a suitcase full of goodies for his friends. FML

Oh please, people are attached to their pets and he probably hugged you afterwards anyway. Would you be bitching if he hugged his mom first? Pets are part of the family too... That said, I don't really see why this is an FML. P.S. If he DIDN'T hug you eventually, THEN I might be a bit concerned.

well, maybe he thought "save the best for last!" plus, the dog might be jealous if he hugged you first. at least if he hugged u after and u were jealous, you could think it through and not be jealous or punish him xD or he'd just think of sweet ways to make it up to u and u'd be happy! i don't know what to do about dogs being jealous...

dont feel bad, its not that he didnt miss you. the thing people dont understand is if they looked as happy as the dog does when your man walked in the room it might be a different story. the dog probably ran to him and got to him first on top of that. this isnt a fml or ydi. its nothing lol

Cheer up. The dog is easy to approach after a long absence because it's a dog. A person though... people change over time and maybe he was just feeling a little awkward and out of place at the moment. That'll pass as you start spending time together again.
