Today, my boyfriend told me he’d have a surprise for me when I got home. The surprise was he’d moved out, dumped me, and cut me off from his share of the bills, because he’s not interested in marriage and babies. I can’t afford the rent by myself so I’m going to have to move back to my mother's. FML

Today, I made the mistake of telling my boyfriend I was taking my kids to my mother's until he has decided if he wants to carry on being a boyfriend and stepfather. While we were gone, he apparently realised how good his life could be without us, and dumped me. I fucked up. FML

Today, the mother of my children and partner of 13 years told me she is leaving me for her boss. I'm currently sitting in the living room with our two kids and her mother. Everyone here is half of her. We moved 1000 miles away from all of my family and friends 8 years ago. I think I might be living in a sitcom. FML

Come on y'all. I know most of you have never been through a divorce (neither have I) but when you have kids with someone, you'll have a link to them for life. Not an emotional one necessarily, but literally you're going to have to interact with them a lot as long as your kids are minors. If you're uncomfortable with your boyfriend interacting with his soon to be ex-wife, then end it now, because it's not ever going away.

I can not say it enough!! You should not be "dating" a MARRIED man!!! Ya shoulda waited for the divorce papers to start dating him!! I am shocked to see so many people okay with the fact that a girl is upset with her married boyfriend is giving the mother of his children a home!!! What is wrong with the world today??? Marriage means nothing to anyone anymore!!!

This happened to me, they ended up getting back together, which was okay because sometimes its for the best. His kids needed a family, the worst part is that he still says he "loves" me and often sends me gifts and reminders of what we had.

It's both a fyl and you deserve it. Sucks that you are stuck with her and their kids. But you deserve it for even being with a man still married. That's a big no no, and a definite headache.

You don't know the situation, not everything is black and white.
