awww, im sorry i bet its a sign
This could be an FML if his mom is a ****, but if she legitimatly needed the money, it could be totally different. And either way, I'm almost positive the conversation didn't go like this: "Hey Mom! I'm getting married!" "Congrats. Hey, I'm a little hard up for money. Why don't you take back the engagement ring so I can pay my bills." "Ok. Just let me tell her." If she honestly needed the money, he might have had no other choice than to take back the engagement ring.
nice if he doesn't have much money marry some1 else!
I think Plexico would buy the joint if that happened haha ______________________________ www.myspace.com/rapid99
No, Starchild, I wouldn't want to deal with the sexual harassment problems, but I would be the biggest customer! Would you mind spelling my name with a lower-case 'P' in the future? There's an impostor calling himself "Plexico" with a capital "P" as in "Phraud." Thanks.
Yeah, I agree with you, if it was true, then okay, but I just think that this sudden need for money right as he gives her the marriage news really sounds odd and unbelievable. Wouldn't the son know the mom was in trouble before, and not only when he gives her a phone call to say he asked the girl in marriage? I think the mom is lying because she didn't like the news. ^^;
It would have to be a pretty special strip club. I'm into MILFs and muffin tops, and I mean muffin tops literally. Of course, let me know where you are performing. I'll be in the front row will fistfuls of dollar bills to stuff into you, er, I mean your G-string. Of course they will be Zimbabwean dollars. A loaf of bread costs about a billion Zimbabwean dollars. If you act really makes my dough rise, I might break out the hundreds. It's all about the Benjamin Mugabes, baby!
respectfully, this never happened. how can you believe this. how much money did she need? 500? 1000 dollars. please if he could get the money for the ring he could scrounge up the cash to help his poor mother.
Oh yeahhh, because whether or not you marry someone isn't based on love, it's based on how much money they have. You're totally right on that. I'm assuming you think OP's dad sold her to her fiance's family for 3 goats and 14 gold coins? Oh wait, we're not in 200 B.C. anymore. BTW, Jonas Brothers suck massive chodes.
Thank you, midnight. I'm so glad you think that marriage is about money. I hate shallow people. >_>
Yes. Or at least to screw up the happy moment of the daughter in law that the mom dislikes. There's no possible way that this surprising coincidence of a sudden money need right as he calls to talk about it, happened for any other reason.
I have to wonder if his mom asked for money (and, in a roundabout way, asking for the ring) in an effort to break off the engagement.
unless this is unusual for his mom, I'd bail. Serious boundary issues there
His mom sounds like a dead beat. What kind of mom would put that kind of stress on her son who is calling her to share one of the greatest moments of his life with? She ruined you're moment and just thought of herself and her own needs.

Tell his mom to get a job.
Oi. That sucks. But hey, it's okay. It's just a ring. It's not like he took back his proposal.
