Today, my boyfriend of 7 years broke up with me in a text message. Then I found out from a mutual friend that he "came out" and told everyone at our school that he is gay. He has known he was gay for years and he was just using me as a cover up. What a great way to start my senior year. FML

I really hope you mean your senior year of college...

theres obviously something wrong with you if after SEVEN years of being with him you didnt realize he was gay

It has nothing to do with flamboyance. If they dated for 7 years (and hopefully she means senior in college), she should have noticed. I'm guessing that even if they did have sex, he wasn't all "into" it... seeing as he's gay. I'm not saying she deserves it, but I don't see how she wouldn't have noticed something being weird in their relationship after so many years.

Not all guys glitter in the sunlight, I mean unless he says, "My name is Edward Cullen" then it is likely he was able to hide his vamp--homosexuality from the world.

Being in a relationship for doesn't mean that they would necessarily have sex, though. Therefore, point is invalid. Some people don't want to until their married. That's nothing new or strange.

Still FYL because it would suck to just find out now your boyfriend was gay... But wtf SEVEN YEARS? AND in high school? It's not ever worth that

7 years as a highschooler is far too long for a relationship anyway.

No, that's spelled right. Break is breaking apart. Brake is like a car brake.
